Terms & Conditions
Noodle + Kin: Mini Atelier School at St Anne’s House
By booking a session with Noodle + Kin (the trading name of Belonging Childcare) via the ClassForKids platform, you agree to the following operational terms and conditions.
Bookings, Payments, and Data
● Platform: All bookings and secure payments are managed through ClassForKids. A child’s place is only confirmed once full payment is received.
● Information Accuracy: Parents/guardians must provide comprehensive contact, emergency, medical, and allergy details at the point of booking.
● Privacy: ClassForKids securely acts as our data processor under GDPR regulations. We only use this information to ensure your child's safety and administer our clubs.
Illness, Health, and Medication
● The 48-Hour Sickness Rule: To prevent the spread of infection, children who have suffered from vomiting or diarrhoea must not attend the club until 48 hours after their last episode. Unwell children will be isolated and must be collected promptly.
● Medication: We only administer prescribed medication (e.g., inhalers, EpiPens) if it is in its original packaging, in-date, labelled with the child’s name, and accompanied by a pre-completed Medication Consent Form.
● Nut-Free Zone: We operate a strict no-nut policy. Packed lunches and snacks must not contain whole nuts, peanuts, peanut butter, Nutella, or nut-based products.
● Lunchbox Cool Packs: The venue does not have refrigeration space. Parents must include a frozen cool pack inside their child's lunchbox to keep food safe.
● Late Pick-up Snacks: A healthy, balanced afternoon snack is provided by the club specifically for children attending our late pick-up session.
Arrival, Collection, and Emergency Procedures
● Sign-In & "Secret Password": Children must be signed in and out by a pre-authorized adult. If an adult unknown to staff collects your child, they must provide the "Secret Password" set at booking.
● Lateness Fees: Children must be collected promptly at the end of their session. Lateness up to 15 minutes will incur a fee. Persistent lateness or uncollected stays exceeding 30 minutes will trigger our Uncollected Children policy, which involves contacting local Social Care teams for guidance.
● First Aid Consent: By booking, you consent to trained staff administering Paediatric First Aid or calling emergency services (999) if a serious injury occurs. Parents must sign the Accident Log at collection.
● Emergency Timelines: In the highly unlikely event that a child is unaccounted for, we follow our strict Lost Child Procedure; parents agree to our localized search timeline before the police and parents are contacted if the child is not located within 15 minutes.
Venue, Digital Privacy, and Belongings
● Venue Rules: Noodle + Kin operates as a guest within St Anne’s House. Children are restricted to our secure, designated creative spaces which are physically separated from public areas. Parents/children must respect the venue’s property.
● Face-Privacy Rule: We use digital documentation to celebrate our young artists. By booking, you acknowledge our photography policy: we only capture non-identifiable, process-led imagery (hands, artwork, environment) and never publish a child’s face. Staff are prohibited from using personal devices.
● Clothing: We run messy, process-led creative sessions! Please send children in "mess-friendly" clothes. Noodle + Kin holds public liability insurance but is not liable for damage to clothes or personal property.
Cancellations, Behaviour, and Complaints
● Cancellations: 21+ days notice = full refund minus a £10 admin fee; 7–20 days notice = 50% refund; less than 7 days notice = no refund. Full refunds/credits apply if Noodle + Kin cancels a session.
● Behaviour: We use positive reinforcement to ensure a safe environment. We reserve the right to ask for a child to be collected early, or excluded without a refund, if their behaviour repeatedly poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
● Complaints: Contact our founder Laura Davies at laura@belongingchildcare.co.uk Formal complaints are investigated within 28 days, and serious safety incidents are reported directly to Ofsted.
